You’ll learn a range of original prompts to spur writing in different genres and use fast writes and a variety of forms and approaches to stretch your writing muscles and tune your written voice. Intended for all writers, beginning or experienced, you’ll grow your writing practice as a group.

See more style="font-size:12pt;font-family:'BentonSans Regular';">Instructor: Shana Ritter has been nominated for a Pushcart Prize and awarded individual Advancement Program grants for Indiana artists multiple times.  She has taught poetry and writing workshops in many settings and was previously at IU in Education and Cultural Responsivity. Her work has appeared in Lilith, Georgetown Review, and other publications. Her poetry chapbook Stairs of Separationwas published by Finishing Line Press. In the Time of Leaving, a historical novel of exile and resilience, is available through Amazon.
