Mark Chilla

Mark Chilla is the writer and host of WFIU’s Afterglow, a weekly syndicated show on the music of the Great American Songbook. At WFIU, he also serves as the Production Director, host, and head writer for the long-running music trivia show Ether Game. Mark has been a musician all of his life. He has degrees in music theory and voice from the IU Jacob School of Music and the University of Georgia, and has taught music at both IU and Butler University. Mark used to sing jazz many years ago, although he much prefers listening to and talking about great jazz singers today.
